In this tasks you have to watch the second episode and try to identify the false starts, discourse markers and hedges used by the characters.

    those are some false starters I ‘ve found:
    Ross: and, and, and, it’s not that we don’t like……
    Ross: No it’s it’s stone age.
    Ross: You know, in here anyone who stays erect..
    Phoebe: You are totally, you know?
    Ross: well, carol says……
    Chandler: I mean, presumably the biggest part of your job……

    Well, you know and I mean, aren't false stars in this case. They are discourse markers.
    A false start will be:it's-it's Stone Age.
